Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to hotel
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you will be greeted by one of our team and then driven to your lodge in Arusha where you can freshen up and relax into Tanzania. The transfer from Kilimanjaro airport to your hotel in Arusha is roughly one hour. Upon arrival you can check in and relax. Depending on your time of arrival, our head guide will advise you on when the equipment check and briefing will take place
Hotel accommodation in Arusha
All of our pre- and post- climb accommodation is based in Arusha. Where your hotel basis is B&B, you can usually purchase snacks or meals at the hotel, which can be paid in Tanzanian Shillings, or often in US Dollars. All safari lodges are booked on a full board basis. Any additional drinks required are for your account, which must be settled when you check out of the lodge.
